Hornets, 360 Limited Sprints, Super Stocks, Sport Mods Racing This Saturday
It’s been a challenging week here around Grays Harbor Raceway, but with the help of our racers, teams, and Raceway staff we are gonna get back to doing what we do around here and that is RACE!!!!
The Hornets are back for third straight week. Austin Kerrigan who won the first night out leads the A Hornet points and finished second last week to John Johnson who is second in points. Daisha Stevens elected to keep her B Hornets win last week and leads the points over Tawni Kerrigan. The Hornets will race with heavy hearts as fellow racer Nick Miles and Jessica's 3 year old son Ryder passed away this week. Ryder loved bright colors so if you have a bright colored shirt (especially Neon Green) wear it this weekend!!! The Hornet drivers will honor Ryder and we will give you the fans the opportunity to support the Miles family in this time of need this Saturday.
The Limited Sprints are back this week with wins by Doug Davenport and David Greene this year. The Super Stocks make their season debut and while it’s been the Kerrigan show lately the competition was right there battling all season. The IMCA SportMods are also on the schedule before the big double header Memorial Day weekend which will pay $600 both nights.
The pits open at 2pm, Spectator Gates open at 4:30, with Racing at 6pm.
Tickets are available online and at the gate. While it’s cash only at the gate we do have a qr code on race day that you can buy tickets at the gate online without logging in.
