The 2018 season at Grays Harbor Raceway is set to start this Saturday night. The 3/8 banked clay oval is ready to roar to life after a long off season. The 2017 season was full of great racing in all 5 divisions with Reece Goetz of Snohomish picking up the 360 Sprint Car championship. Cosmopolis driver Tom Sweatman taking the Shipwreck Beads Modifieds championship. Jack Parshall of Hoquiam picked up his 4th championship in a row in the Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks. The schedule for 2018 will be just as action packed with a variety of racing throughout the year. The Washington Modified Tour will make a return with 4 events, and the Summer Thunder Sprint Series will also see 4 events for the year. The Wingless Sprint Series will have three events this season for the Modern Machinery/Walker Racing Development Wingless Sprint Shootout. Those events are set for May 26th, June 9th, and August 4th. The Sportsman Sprint Cars will make 4 appearances, with the final two being part of the Interstate Sprint Car Series Speedweek on August 17th and 18th. The PHRA Dwarf Cars will see 6 nights of racing with two big events for the series. They will be the support division for the 2018 Northwest Modified Nationals, and the ISCS Speedweek weekend finale. The Fred Brownfield Classic featuring the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series will have two nights of action packed racing. Also on hand will be the Northwest Focus Midgets Series on June 29th and 30th. Mid Season Championship and Fireworks presented by Q-Mart will be July 7th.

The Northwest Modified Nationals is scheduled for July 27th and 28th. The Pepsi Fair Race will once again see a Saturday late afternoon of action during the Grays Harbor County Fair on August 11th. The Rolling Thunder Big Rigs will make their yearly appearance on August 18th during the ISCS Speedweek and PHRA Dwarf Cars. September 2nd and 3rd will see the Summer Thunder Sprint Series and the Craftsman World of Outlaws Sprint Cars. September 8th will be Season Championship and Fireworks, but that isn't the final weekend of action. September 15th and 16th will see Monster Slam 18, as the fire breathing Monster Trucks, and high flying freestyle motocross will take to the raceway.

Come on out for an upcoming exciting season at Grays Harbor Raceway and watch some action packed dirt track racing. For more information, including ticket prices, check out http://www.graysharborraceway.com.
