WRD and Modern Machinery Presents the Wingless Sprint Shootout
The Wingless Sprint Series is proud to announce its partnership with Walker Racing Development and Modern Machinery. Both companies have stepped up to sponsor the Wingless Sprint Shootout at Grays Harbor Raceway for the 2018 season. Just like in 2017, this will be a mini-series within our normal race series for all three races at Grays Harbor. In order to be eligible for the Shootout payout, you must participate in all three races (May 26th, June 9th and August 4th). The payout (see below), which will be awarded at our season-ending banquet, will be based on the accumulation of points during the three races.
All of us with the Wingless Sprint Series want to thank Thomas Walker with Walker Racing Development and Jeff Bell with Modern Machinery for helping us build our series and put on something special at Grays Harbor Raceway.

Modern Machinery’s local branch is located in Rochester, WA, but also has sites in Eugene, Portland, Kent, Spokane and many more. The Rochester location stocks a large inventory of parts specific to the local market including Timbco, Komatsu, Denharco and more. The new facility is fully equipped with shop rebuild capabilities as well as a large fleet of field service trucks.
