Sizzling September Action This Saturday Night

Elma, WA - Dirt track racing action returns this Saturday night at Grays Harbor Raceway with the Shipwreck Beads Modifieds, Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks, Northwest Focus Midget Series and the Outlaw Tuners.

Tom Sweatman of Cosmopolis continues to lead the points standings in the Shipwreck Beads Modifieds, 28 points ahead of Shelton's Scott Miller. Kyler Moore of Seabeck sits in third, Oakville's Brian Harding sits 4th, and rounding out the top five is Aberdeen driver Austin Kerrigan.

Jack Parshall of Hoquiam continues to lead the way in the Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks with a 81 point lead over fellow Hoquiam driver Jason Tole. Sitting in third is Aberdeen's Shane Kerrigan, with Tyson Blood of Olympia and Shelton driver Brenton Schnitzer rounding out the top five.

Nick Evans of Marysville is currently at the top of the Northwest Focus Midget Series standings with Lake Stevens driver Eric Turner sitting in second place, 20 points back. Burlington driver Tristin Thomas sits in third, with Shoreline's Michael Vollbrecht and Jonathan Jorgenson of Tacoma rounding out the top five. As the Northwest Focus Midget Series is a traveling series, the current standings overall show Evans leading Turner by 2 points, with Tristin Thomas sitting third, Chance Crum of Lake Stevens in fourth, and Alger's Ryan Cully rounding out the top five.

Don Briggs Sr. of Wishkah currently leads the Outlaw Tuners points standings over Chad Norton of Tenino. Briggs Sr, has a 43 point lead. Rounding out the top five is Montesano's Brittany Diggle, Tyler Sundstrom of Aberdeen, and Tenino driver Josh Wharton.

Gates will open at 5:30pm with racing beginning at 7:00pm this Saturday night.
