Elma, WA - Grays Harbor Raceway is back in action this Saturday night for Our Community Credit Union Midseason Championship featuring the 360 Sprint Cars, Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks, Shipwreck Beads Modifieds and the Outlaw Tuners. Snohomish driver Reece Goetz currently leads the 360 Sprint Car point standings over Henry Van Dam of Enumclaw, and crowd favorite Jay Cole. In the Shipwreck Beads Modifieds, Cosmopolis driver Tom Sweatman leads over Shelton's Scott Miller and Austin Kerrigan of Aberdeen. In the Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks, Hoquiam driver Jack Parshall leads Shane Kerrigan of Aberdeen, and Shelton's Brenton Schnitzer. Tenino's Chad Norton currently leads the Outlaw Tuners point standings over a pair of Wishkah drivers George Lovell and Don Briggs Sr.
Fan Appreciation Night will also be on tap allowing the fans to meet their favorite drivers on the front straightaway before the action heats up on the 3/8 banked clay oval. It is a great time to ask the drivers about their racecars, get autographs, and take pictures. After the races are done, the skies will light up with a giant firework show to close out the evening. Gates open at 5:00PM with racing at 7PM!
