Colton Heath, Craig Moore, and Levi Harless win Sunday at Grays Harbor Raceway

On the Sunday of Labor Day weekend Grays Harbor had its traditional Sunday Night Race and the first ever Back to School Backpack giveaway for the kids. Colton Heath picked up the Final 360 Summer Challenge Race of the year at Grays Harbor Raceway while Craig Moore got the IMCA Modified win and Levi Harless stepped into his daughters car and won in the 360 Limited Sprints.

A very busy weekend continued for Colton Heath with his fourth race in as many days brought him to Grays Harbor Raceway in the 360 Sprint for the final challenge race of the year. Heath led all 25 laps to pick up his first Grays Harbor win of the season and fourth 360 win of the year in the Northwest and continue to lead the 360 Summer Challenge Points with 1 race left which pays $2500 to win. Levi Hillier was second followed by Levi Kuntz, Destry Miller, Bill Rude, and Brett Scott Jr. Colton Heath had a clean sweep of the night by setting quick time and winning the heat race. All 3 Grays Harbor Raceway Challenge Races courtesy of the Raceway had a random draw for a Hoosier right rear and tonight the winner was Levi Kuntz.

Craig Moore took the lead off the start was able to hold off a challenge from Tyson Blood on a restart which saw him lose the lead briefly but go back around on the high side and take off to win his third race of the season. Tyson Blood came home second followed by Brenton Schnitzer, Austin Rognlin, and Kyler Moore. Heat race wins earlier went to Craig Moore, and Austin Rognlin.

In the 360 Limited Sprints it was a tough break for the point leader Zan Miller who pulled off on the pace laps lining up. Levi Harless making his first start ever in a limited sprint took the lead from the start and led all 20 laps for the victory. Tyson Burman in his first race of the year at Grays Harbor came home second followed by Samuel Strange. Dustin Gehring also making his first start would have to pull off early and did not finish.

Both the 360 Sprint Class and the 360 Limited Sprint Class have their championship night on September 13th along with the preceding event to the championship for both the IMCA Modifieds and the Hornets. Firework shows are very popular so make sure you get your tickets now for the last fireworks show of 2025. Spectator Gates open at 4:30, with hotlaps at 5, and racing at 6pm.
