Race #3 of Summer Thunder Sprint Series Hits Grays Harbor Raceway This Saturday!

With temperatures looking to be in the high 80's this Saturday night, the Summer Thunder Sprint Series will be making it's first stop for 2015 at Grays Harbor Raceway. Already this year Quilcene driver JJ Hickle won the first race of the series at Central Washington State Fair Raceway in Yakima, with Robbie Price of Cobble Hill, BC picking up the second race of the series at Skagit Speedway. Last year's Summer Thunder Sprint Series champion Colton Heath of Marysville is looking to defend his title. Right now, the points standings have JJ Hickle leading Burlington's Jason Solwold, and Robbie Price. Last time the Summer Thunder Sprint Series were on hand at Grays Harbor Raceway, Roger Crockett of Medford, Oregon would pick up the win over Heath and Reece Goetz of Snohomish, with Solwold and Tayler Malsam of Monroe rounding out the top five.

Aberdeen's Austin Kerrigan will be looking to pick up another win in the Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stock division, while both he, and his father Shane Kerrigan have been very dominate this year in the division, they both will have tough company of Hoquiam's Jack Parshall, Brenton Schnitzer of Shelton, Olympia's Eddie Blood, Don Briggs Jr of Wishkah and another Hoquiam driver Jason Tole.

With the Outlaw Tuners taking last weekend off, they will be back in action at Grays Harbor Raceway this Saturday night. Last time they hit the race track, Cody Scouller of Woodland would pick up his first career win over Wishkah driver Don Briggs Sr, and Ryan Onasch of Aberdeen. Willie Wright of Aberdeen who dominated the first handful of races this season, will be looking to return to the winner circle, after having issues during the last race. Other drivers looking to stop Wright and Scouller are George Lovell of Wishkah, Spanaway's Timmy Phillips, Jason Valentine of Aberdeen, and the rest of the Outlaw Tuner field.

The gates will open on Saturday at 5:30PM, with racing at 7PM.
