Practice Night and The Finishline Graphics Chili Feed Kicks Off the Yakima Weekend!
The inaugural Yakima Valley Sprint Car Challenge is just around the corner and the event continues to grow! A practice night has been added on Friday night April 3rd from 5:00pm - 8:00pm. Sprint cars and modifieds are welcome to come out and shake their cars down.
"Yakima is a big fast track and it is important that the drivers get some seat time and the teams get a chance to fine tune the chassis and motors," said promoter Steve Beitler. "This will also give us a chance to shake down the track and tighten it up a little from setting all winter."
After the practice session, Todd and Celeste Hardesty from Finishline Graphics will be hosting a FREE Chili Feed in the pit area for all the teams and workers. Todd and Celeste's good friends Mike and Deb "Woody" Coyner will be on hand assisting with the feast!
"Woody is making her famous home made chili..it is the best you will ever eat," said Todd Hardesty. "We are excited to be a part of this great event and look forward to doing more with Funtime Promotions and the race teams."
