Here 2 Wire Inc. Jump Starts Summer Thunder Sprint Series Points Fund!
All over the country every track has its super fans that support racing in their area. The Pacific Northwest is no different; several people over the decades have stepped up to support the sport they love.
For many years Glen and Kim Hanson from Here 2 Wire electrical company have sponsored multiple race teams and added money to numerous special events. This year they both wanted to be more involved and have signed on to be a presenting sponsor for the Summer Thunder Sprint Series. "Glen and I really like the direction the racing is going in the Northwest. We enjoy traveling to the different tracks and becoming a supporter of the Summer Thunder Series is a great fit for us personally as well as our business” said Here 2 Wire co-owner Kim Hanson, “We are hoping other fans and businesses will see the value of having great tracks and a traveling series right here in our area and they too will get on board with us and help grow the sport”.
“This is really exciting for all of us at Funtime Promotions” said owner Steve Beitler, “To see the series grow from 4 races at 1 track 3 years ago, to 12 races at 3 tracks this year is awesome. Now adding our first series sponsor is exactly what we need to continue to grow. This allows us to develop a point fund and that money will go directly to the race teams that support the series”.
The Summer Thunder Sprint Series presented by Here 2 Wire season opener will be April 4th at the Central Washington State Fair Park in Yakima Washington. Stay tuned for more breaking news….
