Elma, Washington- Saturday night is going to be a great night of racing at Grays Harbor Raceway. The Saturday May 18th event will have the inaugural Cut Rate Auto Parts Iron Man 100 for the Street Stocks. Plenty of 360 Sprints are expected to make the trip for some valuable track time before the Spring Challenge on Saturday May 25th and Sunday the 26th which marks the first races of 2013 for the ASCS-Northwest Region. In addition to the anticipation of those two classes the Shipwreck Beads IMCA Modifieds will have an increased purse courtesy of the fine folks at X-Factor Race Cars.
“We’re happy to get the chance to have our name spread into Washington and get some exposure with more racers in the Northwest,” commented Mike Miller, co-owner of X-Factor Race Cars, “we want to let those racers know that there is a local builder in the area that can service all their race car needs.”
The lucky driver who crosses the line first in main event action in the division will collect $750.00 for the win. That is an increase of $250.00 from the normal payout thanks to X-Factor Race Cars. Drivers that finish in the top positions won’t be the only ones with a purse increase. Cars that are able to make the feature will receive $200.00 just to start. A full breakdown of the payout is available below.
