Elma, Washington- Hey Northwest race fans are you looking for something to do this weekend? Head on out to the Grays Harbor Raceway this Friday July 12th and Saturday the 13th to see the American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region defend their turf against the ASCS-National Tour. The weekend will be presented by the fine folks at Budweiser.

Roger Crockett is coming off of a hot streak during the Bully Dog Performance Speedweek Northwest presented by Contingency Connection which saw him win four of the seven events. He has triumphed against the National Tour already this year in Arizona and has won once against them at GHR back in 2009. Will he be able to keep all challengers in check?

There have been six National events held at Grays Harbor since 2009 all of which have served as the final races of Speedweek Northwest. This will be the first year in which that role will not take place. Jason Johnson is the only driver to win more than once in those six events as he has earned two victories. Travis Rilat, Shane Stewart, Wayne Johnson, and the aforementioned Roger Crockett have all won once.

The events will mark the first of three consecutive weekends the series will spend in the Pacific Northwest. After GHR they will visit the Cottage Grove Speedway of Friday July 19th and Saturday the 20th while Willamette Speedway will host the tour on Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th.

Pit gates open at 2:30, front gates, 4:30, and racing starting at 6:30.Tickets prices for both days are $23.00 for Adults, $20.00 for Seniors/Juniors (13-18)/Military, $10.00 for Youths (6-12), and Children 5 and Under are FREE. Premium Seats are $30.00 and Family Passes (Two Adults and Up To Four Youths) are $55.00.

Two day passes will be offered for Adults ($42.00), Seniors/Juniors/Military ($38.00), Youths ($18.00), or spectators wishing to sit in Premium Seats ($55.00). Advanced tickets can be purchased at graysharborraceway.ticketforce.com.

The Grays Harbor Raceway is known for its high speeds and side by side racing as well as its large track size. Hosting racing action from April to October regular classes include 360 Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Street Stocks, Hornets, and for the first time the Northwest Extreme Winged Sprint Cars.
