Elma, Washington- Grays Harbor Raceway is back in action this Saturday June 22nd for what will be another fantastic night of racing. The fine folks at Pepsi will be presenting the action this weekend at the always fast 3/8-mile clay oval. Classes in action will include the Northwest Extreme Sprints, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks, and Hornets.

The Northwest Extreme Sprints return to GHR for their second race of the 2013. Sammy Wright earned the victory the first time the class visited back on May 11th. In the USAC Ford Focus Midget division there has been two different winners in the first three races. Chase Goetz won the first two events while the latest race was won by defending champion Jared Peterson.

The man to beat lately in the Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks is Jason Tole. Tole has started four races this season and has won all four of them. Jack Parshall is the only other winner this year picking up a win back in late April. In the Hornet classification cousins Chad and Brian Norton have two wins this season. Brian had won two straight going into last week but that streak came to end with Chad’s victory on Saturday. Jeff Daniel is the only other winner in the Hornets with a triumph he earned in April.

Saturday night’s admission is Adults $13.00, Senior (62+)/Juniors (13-18)/Military $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, Youths (5 and Under) FREE, Family Pass (Two Adults and Up To Four Youths) $30.00, and Premium Seating $20.00. Pit gates open at 2:30, front gates, 4:30, and racing starting at 6:30.
