Here 2 Wire Beefs Up the Summer Thunder Sprint Series Point Fund!

Northwest racing enthusiasts Here 2 Wire has continued it's support of the popular Summer Thunder Sprint Series by adding to the point fund for 2016. The 14 race series now has an increased $12,000 point fund to distribute at the season's end to the top 10 teams. This year's champion will take home $3,500, the 5th place car will receive $1,000 and 10th will get $400.

"This series was started out of necessity and has really taken on a life of its own," stated STSS promoter Steve Beitler. "Having people like Glen and Kim Hanson get on board to help the teams is really what makes this tour special."

"We really enjoy watching dirt track racing and the Summer Thunder Sprint Series has some of the best talent on the west coast," said Glen Hanson. "We like what Steve has done with the series and are pleased to be a part of it."

The Summer Thunder Sprint Series opener is April 1st and 2nd at the lightning fast 1/2 mile Yakima Dirt Track.
