GHR Looks To Have Practice This Saturday

Elma, Washington- After losing last weekend’s practice to weather Grays Harbor Raceway hopes to get the Test and Tune play date completed on Saturday April 13th. This is the final scheduled practice before the first race on the 20th. Practice will be 2pm-dusk with pits opening at Noon.
“Everyone is getting anxious for the start of the new season,” commented Nikki Gamell, General Manager of Grays Harbor Raceway, “it’s always nice to start the new year off with at least one practice in before the first race.”
The April 20th Season Opener will feature all five regular divisions at Grays Harbor. Those five classes include the 360 Sprints, Shipwreck Beads IMCA Modifieds, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks, and Hornets. On the 27th the track will host all regular classes except for the USAC Ford Focus Midgets.

The Grays Harbor Raceway is known for its high speeds and side by side racing as well as its large track size. Hosting racing action from April to October regular classes include 360 Sprints, Shipwreck Beads IMCA Modifieds, USAC Ford Focus Midgets, Cut Rate Auto Parts Street Stocks, Hornets, and for the first time the Northwest Extreme Winged Sprint Car Series. Special events include visits by the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series and American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region.
